BUSINESS PORTRAITS ATTIRE
Everyone think classic. Avoid overly loose clothes, tailored well fitting clothes work best. Avoid bold distracting patterns, if wearing white consider wearing layering it under a white blazer, cardigan or sweater. Jewel tones like blue, green and purple are nice for color since they are most flattering on most people. Neutral tones like Black and Grey are also great choices. Avoid flesh skin tones like peach, cream, beige, tan because it can was you out. Be sure to press clothing to ensure it looks its best. Most importantly wear something you are comfortable in!
MEN
Classic suits work best in colors like black, navy or grey.
If wearing a dark suit it works well to pair it with a light shirt and mid tone tie.
If you are going with a less formal look, stick to a solid bottom over a busy pattern or stripes.
WOMEN
For the ladies V-necks are most flattering but avoid to low of a neckline. Small classic simple jewelry works best as opposed to flashy statement pieces, which can date your photo and distract from your face. Tailored, layered clothing like an open blazer or well-fitted cardigan is usually a flattering choice.
Professional hair and makeup is not a requirement at all, but it sure does look amazing on camera and removes the stress of getting ready on your own and putting that pressure on yourself to have a perfect hair day. Make sure you choose and artist who understands your everyday look. Its a headshot and you want to look like You!
